Nutritional Values
This recipe is entirely plant-based — every ingredient is a seed, dried fruit, bark, or root, so no animal swaps were needed. Toasting whole spices rather than using pre-ground versions unlocks volatile oils, intensifying flavour without any added fat or sodium beyond the measured salt. Fenugreek contributes soluble fibre; turmeric provides curcumin, a well-studied antioxidant compound; and the dried chillies supply capsaicin, which is associated with supporting metabolism. Because this is a concentrated spice blend used in small quantities, its direct nutritional contribution per serving is modest, but it is a salt-conscious, fat-free way to add serious depth to plant-based cooking.

This all-spice blend is built from over a dozen whole dried botanicals — chillies, fenugreek, cardamom, turmeric, and more — with no oils, fillers, or added sugar; it's a genuinely clean pantry staple. The only caveat is the salt: use a light hand when seasoning finished dishes.
